Company History

Our Southern California roots run deep. Three generations deep, in fact.

1930's to 1950's

Our family business began in the 1930s when Chris Chesley and his wife moved from Beaver, Utah to Hollywood, California. He joined the Electrical Workers Union, Local 11 IBEW. He later became a partner with Electrocraft. They completed numerous electrical jobs in the Los Angeles area including the “high-rises” on Wilshire Blvd (The Miracle Mile), Jet Propulsion Laboratories, Boeing, Douglas Aircraft and more.

1960's to 1990's

Roy Chesley joined his father in the early 1960s to carry on the family business. He later began his own contractor’s license as CEECO (Chesley Electric & Engineering Co.) in the early 1980s. Danny Chesley began working around his father’s shop at any early age and was hired in 1990 after his enlistment in the US Navy. They completed numerous electrical jobs in the Los Angeles area including water bottling facilities (Sparkletts and Arrowhead Waters), ABC Studios, Burbank and Ontario Airports, USC, and USC medical center.
